You went just right. That painting was suited to its time. In reality a contemporary picture should be set in a bath as that is an appropriate spot for a suicide (sound morbid don’t I? LOL). I also love the pale skin which matches the porcelain bath. The make-up is also good because it suggests a statement on the part of Ophelia (am I overthinking this?). Greg 🙂
