Occasionally an artist will ask me to use one of my photos as a reference for a painting they want to do. It can be fun for me to see! Here’s a watercolor…you can check out more of his work on instagram @jacknapier83.
A few more from shooting in the rain with Mari. I wanted to do something a little more fairy tale haunting with these, while showing her strength.
Lyz here showed me the top of the water tower, and I knew I wanted to use it for a slightly moodier feel. I loved the contrast of the dark interior and light streaming in through the windows. I rarely use sepia, but a little hint here seemed appropriate.
Let’s see…here’s an older one of Heather, pre-haircut. Dress courtesy of my mother…it’s the one I coveted growing up 😉
One of the big downers of leaving NY is not being able to work with this lady again…stunning face and figure!
Happy New Year everyone! Can’t wait to start shooting in Seattle and see what 2016 brings!
