You know you’ve made good friends when you voice the desire to bring a giant inflatable pool into their garage and they not only say yes, but even figure out how to rig their hot water system to go through a hose directly into said pool. No frozen sirens here!
VERY important post: the top nine photos from the instagram account of…my cat.
Adding strip lights to your bedroom is a fabulous way to fight the Seattle gray! I’m excited to be starting a long term project with a friend that will challenge us both…going to be a bit mysterious about it for now, but…hopefully I’ll be able to update you sometime next year 😉
This was my birthday self portrait last week…happy birthday to all you other Sag folks out there!
This was the night Lily VonTrapp and I did a shoot at St. Edwards State Park, and then hiked up a hill in the dark. I turned on my photo light to lead the way! She wore a shark onesie to keep warm. True story.
These were my first nighttime nature nudes (yes, I love alliteration) and I enjoyed the way the darkness really allowed me to appreciate the texture of the bark and water.
All three of these are available as prints here. I’m offering free shipping through 12/31!
Angel at one of our last gasp outdoor shoots…time to bring it inside for winter….
Mari wanted to do a Halloween shoot, and as you can see, contortionists are pretty good for spookiness!
Sometimes, I get a picture in my head. This tea party at the abandoned farm was one of them. I was fortunate to have these ladies make the trip to create these images with me. IG credits from left to right: @meanwhileinthecostumeshop, @lilyvontrapp, @sisterite (who MADE that gorgeous headpiece), @miss_angel_inez, and @jayniejezebel. I just gave the instructions for decadent outfits, and they pulled through beautifully!
We are the weirdos, Mister….
Angel came to me with this cool outfit by Rubberlesque, so we decided to shoot it at St. Edwards State Park, one of my favorite spots. This outfit is handmade out of recycled bicycle inner tubes!
Tomorrow, I revisit the abandoned stables with some lovelies to shoot a tea party. Stay tuned!
