Here’s a blast from the past…back to the only photo course I’ve even taken, to learn film and darkroom. I forgot how tedious removing dust from scanned images can be!
Window Lit Nude
I get on these half saturated kicks sometimes…I like a little hint of color instead of just going black and white.

Eric
Meet my first male nude subject ever! I’m not even sure how long ago this was! I’d been shooting mostly women for a few years, and a few clothed males when Eric contacted me. He was experienced in posing nude already, and was a complete gentleman the whole way through. It felt a little strange at first…kind of a throwback to my first male nude in figure drawing when I was still in high school (you want me to draw WHAT?). But, like then, I got over it fast. All too easy and fun now.
Floating
I miss this bathroom…it got beautiful Southern exposure light and that tub was huge. This was the last shoot I did there, hence the melancholy feel to it.
Black and White Nude
I love working with a team…but I love being one on one with people too. This young woman has been doing figure modeling on the side for quite some time…other careers have included management and the Peace Corps, and now she’s getting her Masters. This shoot took place in just under an hour with some chatting. I’ll show you more in an upcoming entry, but that one will require more writing time. I love the elegance in her movements!
