Next installment: these were taken around the side of the Met…right outside the Temple of Dendur. The sun was not being particularly helpful, so I didn’t get as much reflection as I would have liked, but I still like the structure of the building…and I always enjoy walking across the park.
Couldn’t resist one last shoot with Brittany, so we got up early and headed over to the Met for some dance shots.
Simplicity is a novelty with this lovely lady who has been photographed dancing all over NYC and London…
These two shots were taken within 5 minutes of each other, within 5 feet of each other. I try to make the most of whatever space I’m shooting, and Brittany is fine with slipping out my bedroom window onto the fire escape…
Latest self portrait done with natural light and a timer.
Back to natural light for a few shots…there are times when ditching the lighting setup and going natural is so much better. I love transforming the feel of environments. This was shot in my apartment, which is usually not so great with daylight, but it’s all in the timing and settings. We’ll just leave the laundry I still need to put away out of the shot (Mom, don’t look at me like that)! Anyway, Brittany here is so elegant…I love how she adds to the dreamy effect.

My brother told me that ballerinas wear combat boots instead of pointe shoes when I was five. Looks like he was right! I had to snag Brittany again before she moves to D.C. More to come!
