Decided to check out Saint Edwards State Park over the weekend, and discovered yet another beautiful place to walk, breathe, and photograph. I always feel so much better after spending time surrounded by nature and all it has to offer. Pretty sure my husband and dog feel the same way.

A few more from shooting in the rain with Mari. I wanted to do something a little more fairy tale haunting with these, while showing her strength.
This is Mari. I met her on instagram, and we decided to set up a shoot in Carkeek Park. Of course, this being the Pacific Northwest, it poured. Didn’t stop us! We played in the rain and mud, while I awkwardly cradled an umbrella to protect the camera. She’s done ballet for a long time, and is now training to be an aerialist!

It’s Ashleigh’s birthday today, and she posted this shot we did…this was when I said forget the camera, and just dance. Definitely one of my all time favorite moments during a shoot, even though I forgot to click the shutter half the time because I was enjoying it so much…

This ivy is creeping slowly up my moms backyard fence. If you’ve been here awhile, you may remember I love ivy. Going to keep climbing and growing with my photos. Is there anything in particular you’d like to see?
I’m going to be shooting with more film this year. I do love the turnaround time that digital offers, but I miss that luscious grain and tone that film provides. Onward!
