David

Yes, it’s about time for some more man candy up in this joint…

David is an actor/model, and my second instagrammer.  It’s fun for me to meet and work with people I meet on instagram.  Anyway, he let me know that he was coming to Seattle last Tuesday, so we decided to get together and shoot.  Thankfully, he is a cat person, as Slinky pulled his usual diva stunts…

2 Year Blogiversary!

Well, well….here we are, two years later!  This one really flew for me.  It was a year of big change, as my husband and I moved to Seattle from NYC.  It’s definitely been a good change along with a big adjustment.  I’ve met amazing new faces, wrestled with pets to keep them out of every shot, continued on personal work, expanded the print shop by double, gotten up close and personal with nature, and generally enjoyed the beauty and culture of the Pacific Northwest.

I’ve also been doing a lot more drawing this year, and rediscovering watercolors, pastels, charcoals, and other wonderfully messy things.  Maybe I’ll start showing a little of that here as well.

Is there anything in particular you’d like to see more of from me?  And of course, if you’d like to set up your own photo shoot with me, please do so here:  Book a shoot with Liz

Thanks for hanging out with me here!

xoxo,

Liz

Mermaid Makeup

It’s been looking a little too monochromatic in here lately, so let’s show you the fun mermaid look Lyz put together!  The layering colors on the side of her face were done with loose pigment eyeshadow over fishnet…added a few rhinestones for a little sparkle and there you have it.  Recently discovered a beach where we might have to turn her fully into a mermaid…

Silent Snow

It was my husbands birthday last Monday, and when we saw the snow, we knew we had to get out to Saint Edwards State Park and go for a hike.  After growing up on the East Coast, I didn’t think I’d want much to do with snow, but it doesn’t last long here.  You get that beautiful first snowfall, and you better catch it while you can.  This was a beautiful walk.  It was so quiet.  I love that about snow…silence, delicious air, and unmarked trails.  And I love even more that I no longer have to shovel it.
